Every year, the Heartwood School Board gives us a fundraising target for a specific list of school priorities.  This year our target is $80-100K for:

• School Field Trips like Lassen, Rite of Passage, or Shakespeare Festival!

• Enrichment Class Expenses like high-quality music or art supplies!

• Festival Expenses like strawberry shortcake at Mayfaire!

• Rent to the Girl Scouts for the exceptional Bothin Campus!

• Improvements to Bothin classrooms like new carpets or cubbies!

• Teacher appreciation gifts and care!

We invite all of our Heartwood families to directly donate to the school! Our suggested donation for 2025-26 is $900 per student, but we honor all giving levels and ask only for your support within the means of your family. 

Part of Heartwood's beauty is a diverse community, and that includes economic diversity. Some families can comfortably contribute $900, others a tenth that, others 3 times that. The essential thing is that we each contribute!

Donations can be made in lump sums or in installments throughout the year, including from Donor-Advised Funds.  Make sure to check if you work for a company that offers matching!

• Company Giving Sites - we're on Benevity, YourCause, and CyberGrants.

• Checks to "Heartwood Educational Collaborative" mailed to "PO Box 822, Fairfax, CA 94978" or post-dated and dropped off at the school office.

• Planning to donate, but not ready quite yet?  Please fill out our 2024-2025 pledge form so we can include the funds in our forecasting!
